Humanities grade

I think I deserve an A because I worked a lot at home, I spray-painted the longhouse, and the bridge and I made the well. I also hot-glued the long-house and the bridge, bought the blue Care-fresh for the ocean, made a hole in the roof (with some help from mr. strong) and took home the longhouse everyday. I would say I did 85% of the work.

I would give myself an A, because I went out and bought the cage, his food and his bedding. I also made sure he had carrots everyday to get his vitamin C. And finally I madesure his cage was clean and he was happy. I think I did 50% of the work for taking care of Fetachinni Alfredo Da-Viking.

May 20

Today I gathered supplies to decorate the longhouse bridge and make the well. I ended up spray-painting the longhouse and well. I also started the well by molding it out of clay. I still need to hot-glue-gun pebbles to it.

Day 8

Today i worked on my interpretive panel which is due on Thursday morning and I'm kinda freaking out. Jordin and I are planning on printing out this big side view picture of Fetachinni and putting on poster board and putting our actual panel on top of it. My whole group decided on having all of the organism panels be green, white, and black and all of the Viking panels to be gold/yellow, black and red. I staid after school for about an hour to try to get some more stuff done on the panel and my map but didn't really do much. Jordin and I also tried to cut our guinea pigs nails today. It didn't really work out because he was really scared because everyone was crowding him.

Yesterday we went to the Zoo. I filled out the packet of paper Mr. Davis gave us.

Our presentation

On Tuesday we did our presentation on Scandinavia's geography. I was a little mad because we were going to do Jeopardy but we thought everyone would do that so I made a crossword puzzle but everyone had made either one of those or a word search. We also were planning on asking questions and tossing out candy for the people who got it right. Overall I don't think we did a very good job.

Day 7

Today Jordin and I got our guinea pig!!!!! His full name is Fetachinni Alfredo Da-Viking. Cool name huh? At first I didn't like him because he's a fatty but now I think he's a cute fatty. So today Jordin and I mainly spent our time taking care of him and getting him situated. I brought him home to my house so I can clean his cage beacause it has a lot of poop in it.

Day 6

Today was the first day of testing. BORING!!!!!!! i don't like testing. Okay, anyways, so today I decided on what our activity will be for our lessn plan about the geography of Scandinavia and how it affected the vikings. I had the idea to give out a hand-out and make a crossword puzzle about what they learned from our notes (the handout). We're going to review the notes first though. We havent decided what well do for the review yet.

Day 5 (friday)

Today we took all of our notes and condensed them into 1 page of really good stuff.

Day 4!

Today Jordin and I started researching about the geography of Scandinavia. We also watched the last of the Steve Erwin skits. After lunch we studued for the math test tomorrow. During x-block time the health lady from wed. came back and we did an activity.

Day 3

Today we reviewed our homework about idioms. We also talked about the new citizenship points that are going to take place. Later we lerned about the new component of zoomanities is going to be. My group and I are going to be teaching a lesson on our civilization, Scandinavia. Jordin and I are focusing on geography and how it affected their daily lives.
We then hadtime to practice our Steve Erwin Skits. After lunch we presented them. I think we did a pretty good job given how much time we had.

Day 2

Today my group and I went through all of our notes and we picked out the 10 most important facts to put in our Steve Erwin skit. Then we started planning what we are going to do and I typed up the script at home.

Day 1 MY HALF BIRTHDAY!!!!!

Today Jordin and I turned our notes about mammals and how they make a living into bullet points and turned them in. I also ate doughnuts!!! yummy yum yum
